The recently released comprehensive SEC proposal on climate risk disclosure covers a wide range of factors including board oversight. We have added a link to the 3-page summary below. The SEC has asked for comments from the public until the 20th of May. TSBR will provide comments on board oversight and recommend more standardised disclosure of board members' experience and competence in ESG governance, as well as highlight the importance of the board exercising structured supervision. That is, organisational alignment with the executive committee and key knowledge owners in the wider business.

We also talk about his book 'Boards', a useful guide for everyone who wants to understand the dynamics of corporate governance better.
