Frederik is current Chair, former Executive Director and Founder of The Sustainability Board. He has served as a trusted advisor to numerous board directors, chairs, C-suite executives, and their teams on global issues preparedness. His work is endorsed by organisations such as Egon Zehnder, Bain, IMD, Henley Business School, University of Cambridge, and the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization. Frederik also is a regular contributor to the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance.
Frederik is a Consultant at AvS Advisors, a global CEO, board, and ownership advisory firm. His expertise spans serving private and public mid- and large-cap clients globally, where he works on board effectiveness and performance, board composition, and Global Issues oversight.
Before joining AvS, Frederik was a Director at AccountAbility, the longest-standing issuer of non-financial reporting standards. He also held leadership roles at The Adecco Group including Global Head of Client ESG & Advisory, and Vice President APAC where he supported Fortune 500 clients in organisational transformation. For over 15 years, he has partnered with some of the world’s most admired companies across the US, UK, Europe, and Asia.
Frederik is a fellow of Salzburg Global, a member of Chapter Zero, and a member of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism.
He holds a diploma in Business Administration from IHK in Germany, and earned the CORe credential from Harvard Business School. He has also completed the Oxford Strategy Programme at Saïd Business School, and the High Impact Leadership Programme at Cambridge University Institute for Sustainable Leadership.
