Beatriz is a member of the Supervisory Board at IPCG - Instituto Português de Corporate Governance and has more than 35 years' experience as a transactional and corporate advisor. Until July 2023, she was Head of Corporate Governance (Legal 500 Band 1 team) at Baker & McKenzie based in the Firm's London office and has also served on the Firm's global Board. In October 2009 she was elected by the global partnership to serve full time for a four year term on the Firm's global Executive Committee (EC). Prior to the election to the EC, she was a member of the London office's Board/Management Committee. Beatriz also holds and has held multiple roles at the World Economic Forum.
Beatriz is also a member of the United Nations Global Compact Transformational Governance Think Lab and Head Tutor of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership's senior executive course: Governance for a Sustainable Future.
She further has completed the INSEAD IDP-C - Certificate in Corporate Governance and Berkeley Law Executive Education - Sustainable Capitalism & ESG (2021)
